Levi’s Global Packaging System

CHALLENGES

The challenge was to design a tag system for the global Levi Strauss collection, one that would push the modern side of Levi's while maintaining its heritage brand roots.

RESULTS

I created a flexible system that balances modernity with a heritage feel. I accomplished this balance through a combination of clean type, creative use of the brand shapes, and printing techniques.

The Don | Mad Men

CHALLENGES

I wanted a different way to tell Don Draper’s story - using data visualization to look at his relationships in a unique way. It needed to be informational and have the Mad Men look and feel.

RESULTS

I explored sipping bourbon at work and landed here. I set up a system of categories relating lifestyles and time, with Don Draper front and center. Looking at the data through this lens, combined with the sixties style, resulted in an infographic that pleases the eye at first glance, then provides the viewer with the inside story.

TCHO

CHALLENGES

TCHO Chocolate, a Bay Area chocolatier, invites consumers to taste their newest creations and provide online feedback via their Beta program. I was asked to present their findings in an easy to read, on brand, infographic.

RESULTS

I’m a big fan of the color orange and statistics, so this was a great project from the beginning. With a bright palette and plenty of Beta Taster feedback, I created this infographic that conveys taste bud responses from participants of the program.

Sanctuary Stories

CHALLENGES

I was tasked with designing Sanctuary Stories, a book that shares the experience of a visit to a farm animal sanctuary. The challenge of this project was to create a layout that balances both powerful photography and sensitive copy.

RESULTS

While Sanctuary Stories appears simple at first glance, I carefully considered each of its design elements. The serif type is quiet, yet emotive, in a versatile layout that gives the photography prominence.
